  • An Expat Educator in Asia - A collection of resources that could be used to teach science with an electronic whiteboard.
  • STAQ Learning Objects- Nick Johnstone's collection of science learning objects. Many of these resources are centered on Australia, but there are also many resources for each science subject.

  • A chemistry teacher, Mr. TJ Fletcher, at Eaton High School in Minnesota has produced flash simulations for classroom activities as well as tutorials for standard chemistry topics such as "the mole."

  • Creature Cast- CreatureCast is a collaborative blog produced by members of the Dunn Labat Brown University, along with assorted friends. This project, which is focussed on zoology in the broad sense, serves as a forum to present original content that we have produced and observations by others that we find interesting and beautiful. Support for some original podcast content is provided by the National Science Foundation (NSF)

  • Netlogo - Netlogo is a multi-agent simulation program that can be either used to run a large collection of existing models or to create models from scratch. The Netlogo site includes a detailed discription. Netlogo is free and cross-platform.
  • Molecular Workbench - Both a programming environment and a collection of curriculum resources. From the MW site: "Molecular Workbench offers interactive, visual simulations and activities that have been widely used in science teaching for students of all ages."
  • University of Colorado - Interactive Simulations Collection - A large number of interactive simulations in several areas of science. Many of these simulations have an associated collection of lesson plans for different topics, academic levels.
